Giuseppe Aldama
Today, Giuseppe Aldama is the top producer of the high quality murals seen on the outside of luxury homes, businesses, churches, hotel Lobbies, casinos, buildings, etc.
Landscapes cityscapes, historical events and motives depictions provide the main stay for these works. Since the beginning of his artistic career Giuseppe's work won Recognition at the beginning of his artistic life.
From the art critics he was awarded the following prizes:
Autumn saloon- 1963, second prize;
Whater color saloon- 1963, second prize;
National saloon XLV 1964, first prize and gold medal; all at the international famous " Circulo De Bellas Artes De La Havana".
In addition to paintwork on murals the artist also produces cityscapes and portrait in oil on canvas.
Giuseppe Aldama began his studies at the age of 17 at the San Alejandro Achool od Plastic Arts, where he remained for nearly five years. He than studied at the Martin Studio, graduating on December 1958. In the years following, he worked with the master artist, Fernando Guerrero Trujillo and with the artist, Jose Rodriguez Radillo, who invited hin to collaborate on murals and decorations. Those were the years in which Aldama painted urban landscapes especially those of Old Havana-amassing and impressive number of works , of which he has retained more than 100 oil paintings and original sketches.
His artistic appetite for unusual activities led him to many sensational projects. A skilled paints, he has designed and painted large wall graphics, movies and theater sets, themed interior and exterior murals in amusement parks, restaurants, palaces-(Italy and New Jersey), crafted delicate gold leaf treatments and the gilding and decoration on homes and ceilings. Because he is true Renaissance man, he has a fondness for the impressionistic style and embellishments of an era gone; this fondness cleary shows up in his "Themed" work. What is truly unusual about this artist is that he is equally adaptable with painting in oil, acrylic, tempera, pen and ink, etc.

1972 Calendar from Eastern Airlines whit seven reproductions of colonial La Havana in oil. 1,000,000 prints were made;
1973 Publish of a book whit 33 Cuban landscapes and the literary collaboration of 13 Cuban writers;
1976 Win a competition over more than 1000 artists. To paint mural paint murals relate to the space cosmos , and historical events. ( Duration 3 years) At the Griffith Observatory;
1979 - 1989 we have my own studio. Aldama Gallery in LA, California;
